At Noisy Streetss, we are dedicated to telling the authentic stories of young Africans.
We’ve built a vibrant home for fresh African perspectives through our podcasts, studio, advisory services, and our sold-out anthologies. But we’re just getting started.
Our goal has always been to expand the fiction publishing infrastructure for African writers. Today, we announce our first step towards making that happen. We are pleased to announce that Noisy Streetss Publishing is expanding into long-form fiction!
Short stories and anthologies gave us a taste of the extraordinary talent African writers have to offer. Now, we’re stepping into full-length novels from an amazing slate of debut and established African novelists.
“Our upcoming catalogue is an all-you-can-eat buffet—there is something for everyone!” said Sharon Adeoye-Ajanlekoko, Senior Associate Editor.
The writers on our roster are master storytellers across genres. They are telling our stories like never before. Whether it’s choosing between the life you know and the one you could have lived, fighting against systems that were made to destroy you, overcoming fear and finding safety in love, people getting what they need instead of what they want, or chilling stories about entities that walk among us, the Noisy Streetss authors are ushering in a new era of modern African publishing.
“We are so happy with our selected titles; they are stories that show our strengths, beauty, flaws, and excellence, and that is what we want to achieve at Noisy Streetss Publishing. Stories that entertain, teach and most importantly are unapologetically African.” said Modupe Daramola, Editor-In-Chief.
We are excited to give our authors the freedom, editorial backing, and global reach to tell complex African stories without compromise—The Noisy Way!
Without further ado, here are the trailblazing authors driving this new Noisy era. We are pleased to house the latest release from renown fantasy author Erhu Kome; as well as debut novels from new and exciting voices Solarin Sodara, Dzifianu Afi Edoh-Torgah, Ayomide Ademola, Chidera Udochukwu-Nduka, Tonye George, and Anthony Azekwoh.
Join us on our Instagram as we dive into each author and discover the minds behind the books that will become your next obsessions.
